Our goat farm in North Carolina was created with one goal in mind. We wanted to breed the best Kiko goats for sale. We decided raising goats was the best option because of the growth of the industry. It also happened to fit our property’s capacity. After researching different breeds, we chose Kiko goats because of their heartiness. They have great parasite resistance, excellent growth rates, and outstanding maternal instincts, making them as low maintenance as any goat you can find. Today, we continue to put in all of our efforts into being one of the best Kiko goat breeders.
Our Story
This family has always had a love for animals and farm work. During my youth, I spent a great deal of time working on farms. I always hoped that one day our family could have a farm of our own. After serving 21 years in the Air Force, and then 15 years teaching and coaching in high schools, I was able to acquire the property that is now Cedar Springs Farm.

How do we breed with purpose? By striving to breed Kiko goats with low input and excellent growth rates. That means working hard to select breeding stock that has the best attributes of the Kiko goat breed. We look for parasite resistance, growth rates, and maternal instincts.
